MSC Committees

The Senior Center has several active committees working to bring sustainability and vibrancy to the Center. Read more below to learn about each group and how you might be involved. 

Marketing and Outreach Committee

Headed by Lan and Sue Menegat, our marketing committee is in search of ways to get our name into the community, and the media. They are working hard to increase our visibility and build recognition of what we do and who we are. 

Fundraising Committee

Fundraising Committee and Board Member Pat Janes sells food to hungry folks at our Homecoming Parade Celebration.

The Fundraising Commmittee, headed by George Pfau, is looking for ways to bring new revenue sources to the Senior Center. Working diligently, the committee is planning fun and interesting events and already doing great work raising money.

Membership

Kay Thompson heads this group who is focused on creating value for and bringing in new members to the Center. They are working on surveys to determine what it is that we can offer new and long term members alike. 

Board Development

Led by President Froehlich this group is focused on developing new board members and create active committees and board members.

This group works alongside board president Jean Froehlich helping to envision, plan and facilitate new events and programs for our members and the community. 

Bylaws and Grievances Committee

Scott Todd and Mike Sweet lead this committee which hears from members when they have complaints as well as recommend changes to the bylaws when necessary.
